I'm okay! Just super busy. I've been meaning to do a post explaining why I've been so busy lately, but I never got a chance because I've been so busy lately. Then I got this idea and thought, "Maybe I should wait and post it AFTER I finally post the explanation of why I haven't been posting," but I ultimately decided I should just be realistic and post it now. Maybe people will get used to the fact that I randomly post things after months of silence, like a blog-ninja.
Haha! I love it when I get scratches from my cat (who I don't even live with). It means we've been having 'Fightin' time!' - which is great fun for both of us. And he normally wins because he has claws and I only have a pen or a piece of string, and sometimes I even forget those and have to use my finger. I miss my cat.
I don't think I'd ever be brave enough to confront my cat in direct combat. Hats off to you, sir. Although, if my cat didn't live with me, I'd miss him so much I'd probably let him scratch me, just for the memories.
Clearly your cat is responsible for you not posting. I mean, if you arm is all scratched up, then how can you possibly write and draw? The answer is: you can't. Do yourself a favor and take that cat shopping. Buy the cat whatever he wants so he will leave you alone and your arm can heal up. And by "whatever he wants", I mean a new Ferrari.
That is what I did for my cat, and I have not seen him now for 3 years.
Your cat can drive?! That's very impressive. He's probably been gone so long because he joined a band of renegade cat geniuses who are either going to save the world... or destroy it. *dun dun dunnn*
I am not a cat person (that is actually one of the many reasons why, my dogs never scratch me!) so I can relate to the questioner. One of my new tabs of yours! By the way, cats LOVE me like they seem to all non-cat lover's!
If you're like my sister and me, you make a game of taunting the cat into scratching you. Which makes us very bad people. But amused very bad people. Who end up scratched for our efforts. Every single time. And also, it should be clear, we deeply respect the cat, who is totally in on it. Possibly doesn't know she's in on it, but totally participates. It's the same thing. Finally, all this present tense should be construed as past tense. We did this for years, but that was years ago. I will shut up now.
Uh, are you okay? It's been a long time.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
